Simple and Effective Kit : FAST 30226-KIT EZ-EFI Self Tuning Fuel Injection Base Kit
The kit arrived as described by the title and text. The previous reviewer should have just referenced the part number to the manufacturers site to avoid confusion. Installation was straightforward by following the instructions provided. I completed the install over a weekend and probably spent most of my time redoing the fuel plumbing since I was going from a carb setup to EFI that needs a return line. The rest of the kit installs pretty easily. All electrical connections are labeled with unique connectors so even a novice installer shouldn't have a problem. With everything connected I primed the fuel system, reconnected my fuel return line to set fuel pressure and check for system leaks, and then did the base programming with the handheld tool. The engine started the first time and idled pretty nicely. I let the engine warm up and set idle and verified correct fuel pressure. Satisfied with my results thus far and growing confidence in the functioning of the system, I took my truck for a road test. You can tell the system gets smoother the more you drive it and I have been very pleased with the results. I've started the engine under some different temperature conditions (20 deg day, 60 deg day, etc) and every time it works great and starts without any issues and performs properly. I will provide another update with more time on the system but have been very pleased with the results. No more headaches of always having to adjust a holley carb to get it running right for the day's weather.
If you don't like tinkering with carbs and want something that just works, every time, try this system out. As an aside, I ended up buying their fuel hose kit and the electric fuel pump kit. So if you don't have a high pressure pump, hoses, fittings, and regulator laying around you might get the complete kit rather than the basic. Just follow the directions and there shouldn't be any issues as long as you have clean electrical signals, no vacuum leaks, and properly set fuel pressure.
